Calling all dark-romance girlies, romantasy readers, and spicy book lovers alike! Join us for a weekend of books and friends at the Lavender Garden Romance Readers Retreat from June 28-30, 2024. The retreat will be held at a gorgeous Lavender farm near Abbotsford BC where you'll have exclusive access to a large private farmhouse and property. With book discussions, cozy amenities, nature walks through the lavender farm, moonlight yoga classes, morning meditation, workshops and crafts, it will be the perfect cozy weekend getaway.

This retreat:

-Is a refreshing getaway to recharge amidst nature, cozy surroundings, books, wellness activities, books, and YOUR people

-Geared towards romance and its subgenres (contemporary, romantasy, dark romance, etc)

-Women only
-Due to the nature of some of the content in the books and the workshops, this event is ages 19+

-Introvert friendly :)

The Lavender Garden + Farmhouse.

Escape to the countryside in the charming farmhouse at Tuscan Lavender Farm Gardens, where reading intertwines with the beauty of nature. Meander through the flower gardens and lavender rows, adorned with a tranquil waterlily pond, whimsical fountains, and a charming gazebo enveloped by fragrant roses. Relax out on the large outdoor covered patio set in a private garden with a pond and wisteria arbour. At night, patio lights sparkle overhead and reflect in the pond creating a dreamy ambience.

Built in the late 1800's and recently renovated, the farmhouse combines modern comfort with original details like exposed brick, shiplap walls, and antique chandeliers. The house is filled with antiques, photographs, art, and fresh or dried botanicals in season, expressing a love of nature and historical design.Here, you'll find endless options perfect for losing yourself in the pages of a beloved book. Cozy up next to the fire, find an inviting bench amidst the floral covered property, or a cozy chair beside a farmhouse window.

The prices listed below will increase after May 25th, 2024.

• DEPOSIT - (optional) 50% of your selected Retreat Pass due now, the remaining 50% is due before June 15, 2024. • WEEKEND RETREAT PASS - $299.00
  Includes admission to the retreat the entire weekend apart from staying the night at the farmhouse. Local accommodation in Abbotsford or Mission averages around $85-$150/night this time of year. If you live in the Greater Vancouver area, feel free to drive in and out for the retreat hours to save on accommodation!

• WEEKEND RETREAT PASS WITH ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION - $499-899.00
