About this event

Come hear about the emotional command centers impacting relationship partners and the various roles couples expert John Gottman has ascribed to these important emotional needs.

See how the roles of Jester, Sensualist, Energy Czar, Nest Builder, Commander in Chief, Explorer and Sentry serve the couple, how each partner may favor some roles more than others, and how their interface serves the couple’s emotional needs.

Through your participation in this workshop, you will:

1. Learn the various roles identified by Gottman and his findings regarding imbalances in those roles that can impact how the couple relates to each other.

2. Learn to assess each partner’s strengths and challenges with each roles, leaving you with a better understanding of how role reversals (or even baby shifts) may increase relationship satisfaction.

3. Gain and practice a new tool to help couples reinvigorate their relationships, while addressing each other’s deepest emotional needs.
