Rogue Artists Ensemble presents the Rogue Lab Rough Draft Series: Action Scenes in Process. Over two evenings, Rogue Artists will present 12 short performances inspired by the theme of taking action for your mental health and the wellbeing of your community.
Action Scenes in Process will take place over two evenings at the Valley Relics Museum in Lake Balboa, and will feature six new pieces per night followed by a talkback with the audience. Come enjoy the museum, community resource tables, and a surprise variety of performances, from short plays, to new literary works, to puppet pieces, and beyond. All performances are created by LA artists, especially uplifting women and artists from the LGBTQIA+ community.
May 19 & 20 will each have 6 NEW ARTISTS, so a different line-up each night! Check back here or on our website for each night's program.
Founded in 2028, Rogue Lab is Rogue Artists Ensemble’s incubator for new work that stretches the boundary of what is currently being done onstage, including immersive experiences, interactive design, puppet plays, and genre-bending pieces that fit within the Rogues’ Hyper-theater aesthetic.
Action Scenes in Process is part of the 2025 Take Action Campaign from the California Mental Health Services Authority and the LA County Department of Mental Health. Special thanks to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, the California Mental Health Authority, and the Valley Relics Museum for supporting this season of Rogue Lab.
