A few notes:

1) The waiver below is shown for your information only, there is no need to print it out. You will acknowledge the contents of the waiver when purchasing your ticket.

2) You only need to purchase ONE ticket. No matter if your plane holds 1 person or 6, we just need the PIC of the aircraft to register with us.

3) THIS IS A CASH ONLY EVENT. Lamb Dinner ($40 per person) on Friday and Gene's World Famous Beef Tenderloin Dinner ($60 per person) on Saturday evening. Breakfast and lunch provided free of charge, donations accepted. BYOB.

4) At this time we are unable to accommodate drive ins as the runway is only accessible by off road vehicles and parking is limited. Please make arrangements to fly in and join us!

5) Parking - upon arrival if you are camping or NOT participating in the STOL competition, expect to park on the south end of the field. Transient aircraft and STOL participants will park near the hangar.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Rogers International Airfield Located?

Rogers International is located 7NM South of Stanton Airport (I50) coordinates 37.73N/83.81W.

What CTAF is used at Rogers?

122.75

Why do I need to purchase a ticket to attend?

The simple fact is, our fly-ins costs around $12,000 each time that we host them. Your "ticket" is a donation that helps us recoup some of that cost. We don't host our fly-in's to make a profit, and any money we receive in excess of our cost goes right back into the airfield and its facilities.

Will there be refunds if the fly-in is cancelled for weather?

Yes, your ticket will be refunded if we have to cancel the fly-in due to circumstances out of our control such as weather. We will make the weather call the week of the fly-in.

Can I fly in to Rogers before or after the Fly-In?

Rogers International is a private airfield and prior permission must be obtained before flying in each time. Email us at rogersinternationalairfield@gmail.com for more information.

Do I need to stay over and camp or can I just fly in each day?

We'd love to have everyone camp with us each night but we know that isn't feasible for some. Feel free to come and go as you please. Note that operations at Rogers are Day VFR only and the airfield will be closed to arrivals/departures for a few hours on Saturday (3PM-5PM) for the STOL Competition.

Is there a rain date scheduled?

Not at this time. We host two fly-ins per year (Memorial Day and October) so if mother nature doesn't play nice we will have another event in just a few months.

Can I drive in to this event?

Unfortunately we don't have the resources to accommodate drive-ins at this time. The Airfield is only accessible by 4WD capable vehicles and would require us to shuttle you back and forth from a suitable parking spot to the airfield. Make arrangements to fly in or ride with a friend!

Is there cell phone service at Rogers?

Little to none, and we like it that way.

Are there bathrooms/showers available to use?

During events we have men's and women's portable toilets with hand washing stations located in several locations on the field. There is one outdoor shower available to use as well.

Can I fly in and bring my own breakfast/lunch/dinner?

Absolutely. There is no requirement to dine with us, however we would love to have you join us for supper each night!
