Arrive Early!

We encourage you to arrive early and get your seats and get settled in for the show. The event is sold out (500 attendees!) so you'll want to plan some time for a possible wait to get in.  Also, see the note below about the photo booth!

Seating

The seating is general admission and you will be able to choose your seat when you arrive. The chairs are from the 1950s and are not as padded as some newer chairs, so please feel free to bring a chair pad or pillow if you are concerned about your comfort.

Costumes

Costumes are encouraged!  Local news organization, Denverite, will be at the event with a photo booth, so you should definitely dress to impress!  (Check out their photo booth at Dolly Day! https://denverite.com/2020/01/26/everyone-we-met-at-dolly-day-denver/)

Please don't bring any items to throw -- we are an all-volunteer organization and we need to keep the clean-up manageable. Additional, our theatre is very old, so we ask folks not spray water or throw food items. We will have "Prop Bags" available to purchase.

Question 5

Concessions and Alcohol

We will have drinks, candy, snacks, popcorn, etc., available to purchase and all proceeds benefit the restoration of the historic theatre. Because we have a liquor license for the sale of alcohol, NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL, but we will have beer and seltzers available at concessions.

No Smoking/Vaping

This beautiful theatre is 132-years old! Please be respectful and go outside to the designated area to smoke/vape.

RATED R

Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian over the age of 21. ID is required for proof of age.

A/C and Heating

Accepted Answer

Since 1891 the theatre has only been used in the summer, so there is no heat in the building. If the event is on a chilly day, please dress warmly! Also, for summer events, there is no air conditioning so it can be a bit warm.

Parking

All nearby parking is Free. There is a parking lot behind the theatre, as well as lots of parking to the North and West of the theatre. We share parking with 24-Hour Fitness and Sprouts. There is also street parking near the theatre.
