We’ll visit fascinating sites on Mount Diablo and take short hikes to view fossils, wind caves, Sentinel Rock, the Devil’s Pulpit, and other amazing rocks and landforms ranging in age from the Jurassic Period to the present day.
We’ll also view flora that grows nowhere else in the world and hear how climate change is impacting the flora and fauna of Mount Diablo and the Bay Area.
From the top of the mountain, we'll get a view of all nine Bay Area counties where Greenbelt Alliance educates, advocates, and collaborates to ensure our lands and communities are resilient to a changing climate.
