On Tuesday, June 18 Rochmon Record Club will converge Live at Caffè Lena to listen to and learn about Tom Petty’s first solo album, “Full Moon Fever.” Doors open at 6:30, and the show begins at 7 pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon.”

Spoiler Alert! When Tom Petty, who had at this point in his career released four gold and three multi-platinum albums with The Heartbreakers, and one mega-smash with the Traveling Wilburys, took his first solo album into MCA, they rejected it saying “We don’t hear any hits.” With a change in management, “Full Moon Fever” was released and stands as Tom Petty’s most commercially successful album  – every song is a gem! “Full Moon Fever” includes “Free Fallin’,” “I Won’t Back Down,” “Runnin’ Down A Dream,” “Yer So Bad” and 8 more. As always, Rochmon will have some surprises in store! For Rochmaniacs at a distance, Rochmon Record Club will be streaming live on Caffè Lena TV.

A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, songs and the stories that went into the making of this classic album. By listening together, we hear the music again for the first time. Rochmon Record Club takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs.
