Once again, RCLF will play host to acclaimed authors, illustrators and poets, including Chris Mould, Loretta Schauer, Emma Reynolds, Harry Heape and Oliver Sykes, who will join us for a day of reading celebration at Central Library/Number One Riverside! Factory International poet, Griot Gabriel, and Rochdale Sixth Form College students will wow audiences with their performance poetry, M6 and Falinge school will entertain families with their curious tales of Rochdale Town Hall and Frolicked Theatre are back with their rip-roaring play, The Alchemist! The Library and Riverside will also be jam-packed full of free workshops, pop-up performances, live music, book signings in Madeleine Lindley's festival shop, school and family funfair stalls as well as some surprise appearances from the Sap Lords and an alien puppet disco! You'll also have the chance to sign up to our wonderful library service and join the Summer Reading Challenge! Come and join us for a day of bookish fun to remember!
