About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Increasingly, grind culture – with its long hours and burnout culture – is seen not as a badge of honor but a sign of counterproductive and dysfunctional organizations. Research often shows that shorter work days and weeks do not mean less productivity, however, and that employees value these quality of life factors as much as increased pay. How are these conversations racialized? How do these conversations relate to hourly workers, who are disproportionately Black and non-Black people of color? How can we advocate for better working conditions for all of us? Join us for this Conversation with BRJA on the four-day work week.
