The good ol' born-in-Marin-but-living-in-LA boys in RMS Trio are coming back to Mac’s on June 7th to bring an even more wild electric country-blues-jazz-rock hoedown never before seen or heard! Or smelled!


RMS Trio is drummer Alex Rusbarsky (R), bassist Ryan Meagher (M) and guitarist Matt Saunders (S). All three members grew up in Marin and were friends as children but eventually went their separate ways. The three reconnected in Los Angeles and began playing together, realizing their respective virtuosic instrumental shreddery created a rift in spacetime whenever they jam. The sound they have developed can be described as a rich cosmic gumbo of country, blues, jazz, rock, funk, and everything in between. They are known for their unique takes on covers in these genres as well as their forthcoming single “Calamari Strut” which hovers between 6 and 12 minutes when played live.
