Join us for a celebration of the Mahoning River with RIVERFEST and The Aristist of the Rust Belt, The Summer Market. Free, family event.

Every year Friends of the Mahoning River invites the community to learn, celebrate, and enjoy themselves with displays, kayak trips, kids activities, music, and food. Reservations or tickets are not needed for the public. Free, family friendly event!Inside the B&amp;O Station join the Artist of the Rust Belt (ARB) for The Summer Market. The ARB are a group of skilled and talented artisans and craftsman in the Youngstown Area.Free parking available at the WRTA lot.Tentative SCHEDULE<ul><li>Display set-up 10 AM</li><li>Displays and Food 11 AM to 4:00 PM</li><li>Kayaking 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM</li></ul>MUSIC:<ul><li>11:00 PM to 12:00 Uncle Al Music - Classic rock and oldiesn(Al Gilberti)</li><li>12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Jazz Duo of Frank Lev &amp; Gary Tannari </li><li>2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Music by Travel </li></ul>FOOD:<ul><li>Sauceeino Food Truck</li><li>The Green Thing Food Truck</li><li>Dalia’s Caribbean Kitchen</li><li>Neo pops and lemon-shakes</li></ul>This is a zero-waste event. We will have water bottle refill stations available during the event.Riverfest vendors or organizations must apply for a vendor reservation/application and be approved to set up a display or table for Riverfest using Eventbrite. Each approved vendor will have one table and two chairs provided; please bring your own tent. Riverfest vendors should be non-profit group (501c3), education institution, government agency, or similar. The goal of Riverfest is to celebrate the Mahoning River through education and recreation.
