As Alcoa dig their corporate heels in, we the Friends of Anglesea River roll up our sleeves, and we need your help! Join us at… <h3>RIVER RHYTHMS</h3>Music from: JACK DAVIES, IMMY OWUSU, VICTORIANA GAYE TRIO, ELLA SWEENEY, KISSES, HOWL WOMENS CHOIRan inclusive, family friendly day of community solidarity to show our support to the Anglesea River campaign.Offerings: live music from 3:45, yummy food from Feed Me Surfcoast, beers from Bells Beach Brewing, warm chai, ‘Dump the Pump’ screen printing, river action station and talks, art and kids activitiesWhat you can bring: a chalice for chai and an appropriate vessel for food to reduce waste (there'll also be cups and crockery if you forget your own), a shirt, tote, tea towel, doily or what have you to get screen printedWHY: Alcoa have submitted their application to pump 1500 mega litres annually of precious ground water to fill their coal mine pit adjacent to Anglesea. The submission period is now open for members of the public, and we need everyone to let SRW know how Alcoas plan will jeopardise the health of our beloved Anglesea River.Kids are free!
