Jill Tremlett Large has worked with survivors of intimate partner abuse since 1998. For five years she coordinated a transitional housing program, and in 2003 she transitioned to the Women’s Independence Scholarship Program (WISP). At WISP she has held several positions including Scholarship Coordinator, Communications Director, and is currently the Alumni Program Director. Her favorite thing about working at WISP is witnessing women succeed despite seemingly impossible odds and the transformation that happens when scholarship recipients begin to believe in themselves.
Mona Highline is an ambitious and driven individual, she embarked on a journey to create an organization from the ground up, addressing pressing community needs. Her relentless dedication has enabled the organization to meet the growing demands of housing, employment, and overall well-being initiatives. In 2023, she was nationally recognized as Nexstar Media Group, Inc. Remarkable Woman of the Year, lauded for her efforts in bridging tangible gaps within her local community and beyond. Serving as the founder and director of the Joseph Center, she has spearheaded transformative projects and initiatives. Additionally, her commitment extends to serving on various community and public health boards, further solidifying her impact and leadership in driving positive change.
