About this event

  • 2 hours

We invite you to join us in making beds for those who have been impacted in the Almeda Fire as part of our Rise Up & Rebuild program. This will also be a supportive and fun learning environment for you to develop basic carpentry skills and more confidence with wood shop tools.

You will learn how to accurately cut and assemble pieces. You’ll use multiple tools for this one (table saw, band saw, miter saw, cordless drills) and be well on your way to other cool projects.

  • Up to 6 makers
  • Ages: 18+
  • Instructor: Piper Tamler

Cost includes all materials, space, and instruction | Finished beds will be donated to the community.

Everyone belongs at a TMC workshop! To make this dream a reality, we keep our prices as low as possible. And we offer partial and full scholarships so that everyone can experience the fun at TMC. If you want more information about a scholarship, please email info@talentmakercity.org. We respect your confidentiality.

And, if you in turn, would like to help bring someone to a TMC workshop, please make a “pay it forward” donation on TMC’s website! Keep the love going forward.
