The inaugural Rise Resource Fair, in partnership with the City of Dallas, Crossroads Community Services, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and Shops at Red Bird, aims to empower and support low income women and families in Southern Dallas through a one-stop event featuring community resources from nonprofits, government agencies, and local businesses, centralizing essential services and fostering community support for a better future.

Mobile Units

  • City Hall On the Go - A mobile truck from 3-1-1 will bring city services to the neighbors including birth certificates, garage sale permits, how to adopt a pet or register their animals as well as helping residents report a pot hole, a loose dog, a code concern or illegal dumping among other services.
  • ECHO - This mobile unit helps bridge the gap between patients and the healthcare community, providing a connection and creating visibility for patients that have often felt nonexistent in the past. Residents valuable shared information regarding their diagnosis and course of treatment and daily struggles will be used by doctors, drug manufacturers, and other healthcare organizations to enhance patient care and advance the healthcare industry
