About this event

Rise & Fire Camp has become one of the more reputable and value added training camps for QB's, WR's, DB's and LB's.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Youth QB's headline the camp with a great supporting cast of offensive and defensive skill players. The youth athletes who will attend this camp will be heading into 3rd, 4th and 5th grade during the 2024 school year. Middle School athletes in 6th, 7th and 8th grade during the 2024 school year.

WHAT CAN PARENTS AND ATHLETES EXPECT AT THE CAMP?

You can expect your son to receive high level instruction from some top level QB and skill position coaches in the Chicagoland area and beyond. This year we have QB coaches from other areas of the country coming to Chicago to provide fantastic teaching and instruction to our athletes. You can also expect a level of competition at the camp where we always strive for fun, but purposeful training with high attention to detail.

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM YOUR ATHLETE SONS?

As a staff, we should expect your son to be at a certain level of talent and skill for his age. For example, if your son is "trying to learn how to play QB for the first time," this is not the camp for him. As harsh as that may sound, that's just a fact. Our high school camp includes some of the better QB's and skill players in the Midwest and even the US. We expect our youth camp to be those same level caliber of player of tomorrow. So first timers may want to get involved in some private instruction before coming to a camp like this.

WHAT IS THE LOCATION, DATE AND TIME OF THE CAMP?

We are conducting our camp at Wheaton St. Francis High School, June 15th-16th from 10AM-2PM EACH DAY.

WILL LUNCH BE SERVED AT THE CAMP?

We will not serve lunch so please make sure to eat beforehand or bring a snack for the event.

WHAT SHOULD MY SON WEAR TO CAMP?

We will be providing him with a pair of dri-fit shorts and a BATTLE compression shirt for the camp. He will need his cleats.

ALL QB's MUST BRING THEIR OWN FOOTBALL!!!!

Frequently asked questions

Are there refunds for camp?

No, you can carry your fee over to another Rise & Fire Camp within a year

Is this camp for kids learning to play QB?

Yes and no. It's definitely not for kids who have never played QB. You should have some level of QB experience to enjoy and maximize your time at the camp.

Does my QB some need to bring his own ball?

Absolutely a must!

Year-round personal quarterback training and development academy, focused on 1-on-1 and small group instruction to provide the most detailed and focused instruction in an effort to get maximum results in the shortest amount of time.

Coach Greg Holcomb understands the process of building the ideal quarterback to maximize both physical and mental potential, having trained a long roster of collegiate, high school and youth quarterbacks. Coach Holcomb understands the importance of proper footwork, balance, timing, sequence, positioning and rhythm for the rotational athlete to generate more power, increased accuracy, more efficiency and better timing on the throw. By understanding these critical areas, Coach Holcomb works to create the most fundamentally sound and mentally prepared QB's.
