Look before you Book! Over a dozen unique reception spaces in and around the Elgin area will be open for viewing! See these gorgeous venues, ask questions of their staff and meet other wedding vendors such as florists, photographers and catering during your visit!
This is a self guided tour so you can choose to visit a few or see them all!

FAQs
Where do we START and FINISH the event? 
You may start at any of the 14 participating venues listed https://exploreelginarea.com/ring-around-elgin/. We recommend starting in downtown Elgin where the most condensed map of venues are then working your way out. We will be posting venue photos in the Facebook event page all day.
Can I bring a guest if they have not registered online prior to the event?
Guests are WELCOME but only those that have registered online will be eligible for prizes. 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is AMPLE FREE PARKING for the event! Downtown Elgin has free parking garages, lots and street parking. Also all other venues outside of downtown Elgin have free parking lots. 
What can I bring into the event?
We suggest you wear comfortable shoes, bring a pen and paper for notes, your camera or phone for pictures as well as your appetite! Participants will feature appetizers, desserts, and beverages to keep you fueled throughout the day. 
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Use the hashtag #ExploreElgin through any social media format or text 815-558-6547 with questions! 
How do I become eligible for the prizes?
If you registered online through Eventbrite you are instantly entered to win! The more venues you visit during Ring Around Elgin the greater your chance of winning. Each location will have registration slips so please make sure to enter at each stop along the way. One entry per person per location please. Winners will be notified on Monday, February 11th via email. 
By attending Ring Around Elgin you are giving permission/consent for your photo to be used in social media or future promotional pieces made by the Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
