RIGID HEDDLE WEAVING - A PLACE TO START - Instructor: Loretta Pedersen Date: Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Max: 8 Min Age: 12 Class Fee: $90 Materials fee payable to instructor: $20


Start to learn the ancient craft of weaving using pre-warped rigid heddle looms. Your loom will be ready with wool to make a table runner or wall hanging. We will learn how to make good selvedges and work with pick up sticks to do inlay or change the structure. Becoming familiar with weaving vocabulary will help with future experiences. There will be color choices and conversation about pattern and design. Most of all we will have fun experimenting with something new!

Students to bring: You don’t need to bring anything but you can bring yarns or other items to personalize pr embellish your table runner or wall hanging.
