About this event

We are happy to introduce our new involvement in the campaign to get pass the Right to Repair bill (BH 2688). Drafted towards protecting our organization and hundreds of other independent and large electronic repair and recycling centers and businesses. Similar to the bill passed decades ago to prevent a monopoly on auto repair by the manufacturers, Right to Repair would ensure important organizations like Free Geek are allowed to continue to service and educate the community.

Come to learn about the bill, how it impacts all of us, what we can do and how you can get involved. Light food and drinks will be provided. Feel free to stick around after to talk with Colin Kerosky, our temporary political organizer for the next few weeks. Colin is excited to learn from past volunteer experiences and work with everyone to become advocates for this issue. We encourage as many folks as possible to attend to get the first slots for volunteering. If you are unable to make it and are interested, opportunities to volunteer will be emailed following the meeting.

Feel free to contact Colin with interest, questions or ideas about R2R @ colin.kerosky@freegeek.org or (503)-490-4251
