In our Ricotta and Burrata Class, take your cheese making skills to the next level with an intensive hands-on session.
Mozzarella class or mozzarella making experience is helpful but not required for this class. Already took the Mozzarella & Burrata class? Get more practice working that curd and experiment with new fillings and techniques!
Arrive early to snack on Tulip Tree treats with a personal cheese tasting plate with local accoutrements. You can’t learn on an empty stomach!
Starting with our fresh pasteurized milk, you and a partner will work together to make a batch of fresh hand ladled ricotta. During this process we will delve into various recipes and methods to make and use ricotta at home.
Once our ricotta is finished we will provide you with fresh mozzarella curd for burrata making. Our instructor will demonstrate the art of burrata making, creating a beautiful purse of hand stretched mozzarella filled with cream, curd and fresh ricotta. Then it's your turn! Each participant will make two balls of burrata.
Best of all, you get to take your ricotta and burrata home, with expert tips about how to store and use it.

Face masks will be available if needed. Frequent hand washing and sanitizing will also be required.
