Make some time to build, explore, and discover together in the exciting world of STEM—with NO STRESS!This engaging program takes place at Rick’s Place on select Saturdays, offering hands-on STEM activities led by STEMspire. Designed for ages 5 to 12 (younger participants may need additional support), each session invites children and their families to dive into creative challenges that involve building, problem-solving, and experimenting together.Each one-hour session includes a mix of open exploration, guided instruction, and hands-on building activities, followed by a fun group game or interactive wrap-up. Activities are designed to keep participants engaged, thinking, and creating—while having a great time together.This program is completely free for service members and their families, but spots are limited—registration is required in advance. Things to Know Before You Go:Families are encouraged to participate together - parents and caregivers should plan to stay and engage alongside their child throughout the session.Activities are hands-on and process-based; participants will build and experiment during the session rather than take projects home.Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and active participation.Proof of Military Affiliation (such as a Military ID) is required at check-in.Each child participant must be registered individually. Pro Tip:Arrive on time to get the full introduction and make the most of your Rick’s Bricks experience! We can’t wait to see what you’ll build!
