About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

The Bernardine Quinn Riverside Park pollinator and Firewise gardens provide habitat for a wide diversity of invertebrates ranging from bumble bees to butterflies. The gardens feature Idaho native, Firewise, and low-water pollinator friendly plants. This tour will highlight some of the easy to grow pollinator friendly species throughout the site and the invertebrates that rely on them. Participants will also learn strategies to support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife to their own garden spaces.

Meet at the gazebo in the middle of the park. Please note that this park does not have a restroom.

We will be joined by the Boise Public Library Excitetrike!
