Revolution!

The Epiphoni Consort is an award-winning chamber choir performing music of all eras and styles to a professional standard across London's great churches and concert halls. The group was founded in 2014 to fill a gap between the amateur and professional tiers of the choral tradition, and since then, with two competition awards, a BBC TV recording, and three critically acclaimed discs on the Delphian Records label,  Epiphoni has firmly established itself as one of London's foremost choirs.

Russian piano and choral music of the 20th century marking 100 years since the Russian Revolution.
Featuring pianist <A HREF="http://www.martinjamesbartlett.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Martin James Bartlett</A>, former BBC Young Musician of the Year — and music by Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Prokofiev, Grechaninov, Chesnokov and others.
The music will be woven together by narrative written by Rufus Stilgoe, author of our acclaimed <A HREF="https://www.epiphoni.org.uk/events/past/the-christmas-truce/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Christmas Truce performance of 2014</A>.
The narrative tells a (fictionalised) account of two distinguished and diverse gentlemen - Arthur Ransome and Sergei Rachmaninov - and their involvement with the Russian Revolution in an imagined meeting between this author/journalist at the start of his career and a composer at the height of his
