Reverse Pitch

Prosper Lincoln and the Nebraska Department of Computer Science and Engineering have partnered up to give students unique opportunities to connect with local companies and land great jobs. This series of events is designed to help students explore career options and find an organization that fits with their personal goals and interests.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Our annual Reverse Pitch event will be Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m. on Innovation Campus. This year's event will be held in a new format, so we encourage all CSE students to attend this year, even if they have before! Fifteen companies will give 5-minute presentations about their organizations and opportunities to CSE students. Following the presentations, students will have a chance to talk more with representatives from the companies they liked—and enjoy some free pizza! In the new format, presentations will be given in three different breakout rooms at Nebraska Innovation Campus. Students can choose which presentations they'd like to attend most. Participating companies include Ameritas, Assurity, Don’t Panic Labs, Farm Credit Services, Firespring, Garmin, Hudl, National Research Corporation, Nelnet, Nobl Health, Penlink, Sandhills Global, Silverline, Spreetail, and Talent Plus. This career event is exclusive to CSE students or students applying for jobs in computer science, computer engineering, and software engineering fields (all jobs and opportunities presented will be tech-oriented for those with computing background and experience). Students who need a ride can catch a free school bus that will run from the loop at the south side of University Suites to Nebraska Innovation Campus at 4:15 and 4:40. Students can also use their UNL bus passes to catch the campus bus that runs back and forth from City Campus to Innovation Campus.
