Reverse Pitch Event
Prosper Lincoln, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and 10 local tech companies are coming together again to present their second Reverse Pitch event.
Students are invited to gather in the Nebraska Innovation Campus auditoirium on Tuesday, October 24 at 5 p.m. to hear 10 companies give brief 5-minute presentations about their organizations, work, culture, internships, and open jobs. Presenting companies will include Hudl, Don't Panic Labs, Firespring, Nelnet, Spreetail, PenLink, Sandhills Publishing Company, Assuity Life Insurance Company, and Ameritas.
Following the pitches, students will be invited to enjoy free pizza and chat with company representatives about career opportunities.
Dress for this event is casual, so students may attend as they're comfortable.
Students in need of transportation may take a campus bus to the event that will pick them up at the 14th & Vine bus stop at one of the listed pick-up times (http://parking.unl.edu/innovation-campus-routes#22-schedule). Students should remember their bus pass and get off at stop #23. There will also be a bus running from University Suites to Innovation Campus exclusively for this event beginning at 4:30 p.m. Students may also drive themselves and park in the free north lot.
As this is a career event designed to connect university students with tech jobs and internships in the Lincoln community, it is exclusively open to Computer Science and Engineering students.
We ask that all attending students RSVP for this event and mark their plans to attend by reserving an EventBrite ticket directly through EventBrite or via the corresponding Facebook event.
