Gentle Movement: Flow through gentle Tai Chi movements and stretching, enhancing balance, flexibility, and inner calm.
Breathwork & Meditation: Cultivate mindfulness through guided breathing exercises and meditative practices designed to ground you.
Forest Bathing: Go on mindful walks in serene natural surroundings, awakening your senses and fostering a deep connection with nature.
Creative Exploration: Connect with yourself and other attendees through guided art activities.
About Your Facilitator
Daniel Hatcher, MPH is a nationally recognized workshop facilitator, having presented at education conferences in over 40 states and Canada, including SXSW EDU and the Global Outdoor Health Summit.
He is also a Strala Yoga Guide and sound healing practitioner. With over 15 years of experience in wellness and youth development, Daniel integrates mindfulness, movement, and creative arts to foster spaces of deep connection and authentic collaboration.
Certified in Nature and Forest Therapy and Mental Health First Aid, Daniel recently authored a chapter in Wonder Libraries, highlighting the power of play and nature for healing and health.

About The Land at Hawkins Loop
The Land at Hawkins Loop is a family-owned, 63-acre, nature-based event and retreat center featuring gently sloping pastures with salvaged and repurposed tobacco barns, located less than 30 minutes from Durham, Hillsborough, Roxboro in beautiful Person County.
The venue's fields and old growth forest are heavily populated by a wide range of birds, wildlife, and plants supported by an on-staff Certified Master Gardener.
