Founder + Financial Advisor

Rob is a financial advisor and founder of Putnam Financial. He is passionate about guiding investors through the three phases of their financial life: asset accumulation, asset protection and asset distribution.

Rob is licensed with the California Department of Insurance as a Life Agent. Since 2003, Rob has accumulated over 800 clients and has over $120 million in assets under management. As an independent financial advisor, Rob is able to offer a wide array of investment choices to his clients. He is beholden to no one except the client, which means he has the freedom to offer solutions that help address their unique situation. In 2016, Rob chose not to renew two licenses that would have enabled him to continue to offer risk-based investments. The most important thing Rob has learned in his decades of experience in this industry is that his clients do not want to participate in risk-based investments. In fact, Rob has not lost a single dollar of his clients’ money. His decision not to renew these licenses has aligned Rob perfectly with his company motto: “It’s your money. It’s not a game”

Rob has the knowledge to be able to assemble a comprehensive financial plan tailored to each individual client’s needs, goals and dreams. Rob provides this as a value-added service for his clients and not for a fee. However, if a client seeks a fee-based investment plan Rob will accommodate those clients.

Rob may not have all of the answers, but what he does have are resources. He has aligned himself with the most reputable and distinguished attorneys and CPA’s in Visalia. What this allows Rob to do is assist his clients with comprehensive estate and tax planning. These relationships allow his clients to meet with these professionals for free consultations so hundreds of dollars aren’t wasted.

With Rob you get independent, unbiased, financial advice and access to resources that can help you reduce taxes, build an estate and grow your investments with as little as possible for you and your family. Moreover, Rob seeks to work with clients over the long term. Relationships are not built on one-time- transactions. They are built by developing lasting, meaningful relationships.
