Whether you’re graduating from college, coping with a death, divorce or diagnosis, or leaving a career, transitions—planned or unplanned—are an inevitable part of life. But as inevitable as transitions are, they can still be intimidating, filled with moments of uncertainty, grief, and self-doubt.

In 2012, Cassidy Krug was an Olympic diver with a shot at a bronze medal. The next day, her lifelong athletic career was over, and Cassidy had to figure out what to do next. In her debut book, Resurface: A Guide to Navigating Life's Biggest Transitions, she compares notes with people from all walks of life, discovering fascinating common ground.

At this event, attendees will hear from Cassidy, along with three Transitioners from the book:

Nora Feely (Chapter 1: Recognize the End), a cancer survivor coping with ongoing health repercussions
Dawn Apang (Chapter 2: Honor Grief), a daughter moving through grief
Molly Schaus (Chapter 6: Leave Your Baggage), an Olympian adapting to the working world

Moderator Brianna Clark of New Rules Collective will guide participants to share stories and connect on the highs and lows of transition.
