Trust is a squishy yet triggering word. "Squishy" in that it's hard to define and everyone means something a little different. "Triggering" in that as soon as you bring it up as an issue, everyone is on the defense. And yet, at the heart of communication, collaboration and team health . . . is Trust. Without a strong foundation of trust on a team, conflict will continue to arise and progress will not be made.
Adding to the complexity is that each of us unintentionally breaks trust all the time . . and doesn't always know how to repair and restore Trust. Owning our missteps and blindspots, then repairing and restoring lost work or connection, exponentially puts deposits in the "trust bank" of our teammates when trust has been broken.
In this workshop, we’ll provide a framework to talk about Trust and spend most of our time exploring how to restore trust between colleagues once trust has been broken.
