About this event

  • 2 hours

NDX Keller Lab will be hosting a 2 CE course.

Join the Neodent Clinical Team as they discusses the clinical considerations when restoring a morse tapered implant connection. They will discuss the five most important things to consider when restoring single unit implant crowns. Attendees will be able to tour a local lab to see how a digitally designed implant case is restored. Attendees will also be able to place a CADCAM analog into a printed model, insert a Ti base, and cement a screw-retained restoration that they will then take home with them.

OBJECTIVES • To understand the concept of a “matching” and “non-matching” connection when it comes to identifying implant connections.

• To discuss the idea of crestal and subcrestal implant placement.

• To explore the principles behind designing an abutment and crown to be convex vs. concave.

• To identify the mucosa thickness and height when determining the proper abutment to choose.

• How to accurately, and consistently measure the gingiva height of the abutment, and account for biological width.
