Restorative Practices 101

Participants will deepen their understanding of Austin ISD’s Restorative Practices tiered model. This work is grounded in a child-centered, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approach that integrates social, emotional, and academic development, rooted in practices of harmony and community connection. Participants will engage in restorative practices across a continuum—including affective language, affective questions, intentional conversations, and circles—to support campus-wide Tier 1 implementation of Restorative Practices.
