Join us for a free, in-person workshop that explores how healthy eating and sleep impact our mental health, mood, and overall wellness.

<h3>What You’ll Learn</h3><p><br></p><h4>Part I: <em><em>Rest &amp; Sleep Wellness</em></em></h4><p>Sleep isn't a luxury—it's a necessity. In this powerful segment, we’ll explore:</p><ul><li>What sleep <em><em>really</em></em> does for your body and mind (hint: it's deeper than just rest)</li><li>How stress, racial discrimination, and daily habits affect your sleep quality</li><li>Historical context on how systemic racism continues to impact asleep patterns today</li><li>The difference between circadian rhythm, homeostatic drive, and metabolic sleep</li><li>Actionable tips to create a consistent, healing wind-down routine</li><li>Tools for improving your sleep: journaling, warm showers, herbal teas, magnesium, yoga, and more</li></ul><p>You'll leave with new insights on how sleep impacts healing, energy, and mental clarity—plus a plan you can actually stick to.</p><p><br></p><h4>Part II: <em><em>Feeding the Mind Through Food</em></em></h4><p>Your gut is your second brain.
