Responding to Expectations

Find your people, Find your practice. We are a place where community and contemplation meet. No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region, and online through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. If you are opposed to sharing your lovely face, let us know and we'll do our best to avoid that. But, by using an event ticket you agree to let The Hive share your image in photo, audio, and video form. For Zoom classes we occassionally announce if we elecet to record- please let your host or faciliator know if you do not want to be recorded.)

 How do you respond to expectations? Our Tendency shapes every aspect of our behavior, so understanding this framework lets us make better decisions, meet deadlines, suffer less stress and burnout, and engage more effectively. The Four Tendencies Workshop equips participants to understand the differences among the four types—Upholders, Questioners, Obligers, and Rebels—and to engage in scenarios and discussions to put that knowledge into practice.
Stephanie Barnard is a technical communicator who activates the potential of people, teams and organizations to get more done. Her company, Memory Dept., offers operational consulting and digital management services. Stephanie lives in Northside and loves practicing yoga and meditation at the Hive and elsewhere.
