A proactive approach to abuse, crime, and accusation in your church

Most, if not all, churches will experience crisis, and how we respond matters. Whether it's an accusation, abuse, or criminal activity, our calling as ministry leaders is to lead with wisdom, justice, integrity, and care.

This training, led by the team from HR Ministry Solutions, will equip pastors, ministry leaders, and board members with the tools they need to respond faithfully and wisely when encountering crisis.

We’ll explore a three-part framework:

  • Proactive Church Crisis Prevention
Through policy and training, learn how to safeguard your church from potential crises like moral failure, financial indiscretions, and harassment.
  • Church Crisis Response
Develop clear complaint and response procedures, understand when and how to conduct investigations, and learn when to involve legal counsel or law enforcement.
  • Church Crisis Recovery & Communication
Create a communication blueprint for staff and the congregation—what to share publicly, what to hold private, and how to rebuild trust while safeguarding against recurrence and caring for those wounded.

Join us as we explore wise and loving methods of pastoral care, ethical leadership, and gospel-centered accountability.
