Resource-Variable Trauma Team Development Course (RTTDC)
Overview
RTTDC prepares rural healthcare teams to rapidly assess, stabilize, and manage trauma patients and coordinate timely transfer.
Students can expect an interactive day of trauma education combining focused lectures, team-based discussions, and hands-on patient scenarios. Participants will practice trauma assessment, stabilization, communication, teamwork, and transfer decisions using realistic cases designed for rural and resource-limited settings.
