About this event

Welcome to Resonant Spaces! Join us on 1, 4, or 7 June 2025 at Stephens House & Gardens to start your day with peace, light, and refreshing energy.

This project will premiere at the 2025 London Festival of Architecture (LFA) and is funded by the Barnet Culture & Public Art Office, Growth and Corporate Services.

Nestled within the historic gardens and quiet pathways of Stephens House & Gardens, Resonant Spaces is an immersive performance and workshop that invites participants to explore the subtle, embodied connections between movement, space, and urban life. Drawing from Tai Chi and dance, this event encourages a deeper awareness of how our bodies respond to the rhythms of our surroundings—its shifting light, textured landscapes, and hidden flows of energy.

Through guided movement practices, improvisation, and shared reflection, we will discover new ways of relating to the environment—slowing down, tuning in, and finding resonance in the spaces we inhabit. Whether you are a dancer, a Tai Chi practitioner, or simply curious about movement and urban experience, this gathering offers a unique opportunity to engage with the city through stillness, motion, and presence.

Don't miss out on this unique embodied listening moment, where movement becomes a quiet dialogue between self and place~
