A resolveathon is a knock down, drag out fight with your inner self. It's the thing we do when we need to shake things up & work the funk out of our system. When you have had enough of your excuses, your doubts, fears, & your procrastination, you make the sacrifice & commit to win at all cost.

What is the purpose and impact of participating in a resolveathon?

The purpose of a Resolveathon is to unify your imagination, mind, body, heart & your will. When you are done, your imagination, mind, body, heart & will, will be unified in their desire & purpose. You will feel 8ft tall because you will have regained control of your being & doing through sacrifice.

Who can participate in a Resolveathon?

Accepted Answer

The event is open to anyone who is physically able and mentally prepared to undertake a significant internal battle to unify their themselves. This endurance event is about your resolve, your fitness level has nothing do with it. Are you ready to go within and fight the good fight? You can win.

What activities are involved in a Resolveathon?

Accepted Answer

Activities can vary but generally include walking, running, cycling, skating, or any other form of movement that challenges endurance. The event is self-paced, allowing participants to engage at their own speed.

Where and when will the Resolveathon take place?

Accepted Answer

The event will take place on West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz, CA, starting at the 0 Mile Marker. The Resolveathon is held every first Friday of the month, beginning at 6:30 AM.

What are the weather conditions for the event?

Accepted Answer

The Resolveathon takes place regardless of weather conditions. The tougher the weather, the more committed the resolve. Participants should come prepared for any weather.

What should I bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

Participants should bring plenty of water, energy bars or snacks, appropriate clothing for the weather, and any necessary personal items. We also recommend a strong resolve and readiness to push your limits.

Is there a registration fee for the Resolveathon?

Accepted Answer

No, there is no registration fee. In the future we will give participants to opportunity to purchase a Resolveathon Adventure Pack: T-Shirt, Baseball Cap, Backpack, Water Bottles etc. But not at this time.

Question 9

What are the safety measures in place?

Accepted Answer

Safety is a priority. The event will not have medical personnel on standby, and the route will not be monitored. However, we will look after each other as best we can and call 911 if needed.

Question 10

How long is the Resolveathon route?

Accepted Answer

The official route is 22.2 miles, the stretch goal is 28.2 for those so inclined. However, the distance will be self-determined by the participants. You need to stretch yourself beyond your limits. There is a special thing that happens internally at mile 22.2.

Question 11

Can I participate in part of the event or do I need to complete the whole distance?

Accepted Answer

Participants are encouraged to complete the entire distance to fully experience the challenge of the Resolveathon. However, if you are unable to complete the entire route, that's is just fine, so long as you stay committed to reach the goals and objectives you dedicated the event to.

Will there be any rewards or recognition for participants?

Accepted Answer

Finishing is the reward. In the pursuit of your purpose, goals and aspirations and ambitions, nothing will require more stamina, endurance and sacrifice, commitment and resolve. The mind chatter you will have to endure and concur will prepare you to tackle any challenge you face. You will be one.
