RSVPS are appreciated but not required! <a href="https://generationliberation.com/" title="https://generationliberation.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The LGBTQ+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project</a> is proud to present our 2025 annual spring exhibition: Resisting Erasure.Join us on Friday, April 25th from 6:00-8:00 PM at <a href="https://www.centeronhalsted.org/senior.html" title="https://www.centeronhalsted.org/senior.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Center on Addison</a> (806 W. Addison).The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.The Center on Addison is fully ADA accessible. All are welcome!The exhibition will be open through May 5th.Saturday 4/26 9am-2:30Tuesday 4/29 9am-2:30Thursday 5/1 9 am-2:30Saturday 5/3 9am-2:30.Members of the LGBTQ+ Dialogue Project will be touring the show and the space through the week. Check the link in our bio on Instagram for the most updated info for tours!Founded in 2019, the project fosters sustained educational and artistic opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to connect across generations. We bring together diverse cohorts of LGBTQ+ college aged youth and LGBTQ+ older adults (55+) for themed dialogues, storytelling, shared meals, and collaborative artmaking.The art work in this exhibition is rooted in our commitment to continuing our history and inspired our visits to the Gerber Hart LGBTQ+ Library and Archives.In a political moment where we are witnessing renewed unabashed transphobic and homophobic legislation, we as an engaged community of queer artists, activists, and scholars draw on our collaborative artistic practices to remind everyone that we’ve been here, we’ve always been here, and we refuse attempts to erase us.
