LACI's Green Jobs Workforce Development Team will be hosting a series of Discovery Events leading up to our Resilient Rebuilding Training Course (scheduled to launch in January 2026). The training course will be focused on supporting wildfire recovery and long-term climate resilience in Los Angeles. LACI will prioritize recruiting fire-impacted individuals along with historically underserved and underrepresented Angelenos, ensuring that those most affected by the wildfires have access to new green career pathways and opportunities for economic mobility. The course will provide technical training to 30 individuals and place graduates in paid internships with LACI startups and partners, while also providing professional development, career readiness, and job placement support.

We would love to hear the voices of those whose homes or livelihoods were directly affected by the Altadena/Eaton Canyon wildfires to help shape the design of our upcoming Resilient Rebuilding Training Course. We will be hosting an in-person focus group to gather insights:
