Resilient Corridors Workshop

Established in 1962 as an area-wide association of governments, the ECFRPC is represented by 35 Council members and a skilled staff that provides technical assistance to governments and organizations within the East Central Florida region. The ECFRPC covers eight counties in East Central Florida, including Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. These eight counties include 78 towns and cities and serve an estimated 4.3 million residents.

<p>The purpose of this event is to acquaint planners and economic development professionals with the services provided by the ECFRPC’s brownfields and community revitalization program. In 2024, the ECFRPC was awarded a $1.5M EPA coalition grant to assess properties across the region for contamination/redevelopment. The key takeaways from this workshop will focus on understanding a federal program, identifying key corridors for redevelopment, leveraging it for regional investment and development, capacity building, and brownfields best practices. Please note that ticket costs are to cover lunch expenses. </p>
