ABOUT THE EVENT

As Black Professionals you work hard. Now it’s time to focus on your health and wellness.

For too long cannabis has been systematically weaponized against the black community. Professionals have distanced themselves from the plant because of the stigma. At Monko we believe everyone deserves access to the plant and its healing benefits.

Join us for an evening of education and relaxation as we acquaint or reacquaint you with cannabis.

This event will feature a tasting menu of popular wellness products, a sound bowl artist and meditation session, an educational overview as well as drinks and light hors d'oeuvres.

ABOUT MONKO

Monko is delighted to not only be a part of but pioneer the Washington DC cannabis community. We work tirelessly to implement positive social change, improve the narrative around cannabis and raise awareness of the benefits of this natural remedy. Creating an environment that is accessible, welcoming, diverse and comfortable for everyone, we believe each rewarding experience makes a difference. Our goal is to get more shops like ours up and running, to spread the word and open up greater access to plant-sourced healing and happiness.

ABOUT THE SATORI AGENCY

The Satori Agency is a consulting agency on a mission to help leaders prioritize mental, emotional and spiritual well-being in impact and mission driven work. As advocates for plant medicine, we are committed to challenging the stigma and misconceptions surrounding cannabis and other healing plants.
