Childbirth Refresher:

New Birth Company's Childbirth Refresher class is offered to those who have had a previous birth. We will review natural labor and birth, how to manage the discomforts of labor & birth, and what to expect in the birth center setting.

In addition, we will review care of you and baby immediately after birth, our follow-up plan and surviving the first 48 hours at home.

If you desire a more in-depth teaching regarding comfort measures in natural labor, please consider the Childbirth Education Part 1 class or our Childbirth Education 3 Week Series.

Your support person does not need to register. One support person is assumed.

If enrolled in this class you may enroll in "The Use of Water in Labor & Birth Class" using the free voucher. Register on eventbrite using "concurrent enrollment voucher".

New Birth Company virtual classes will give you all the tools you need for an Incredible Birth Day. Using Google Meet, a video conferencing tool, our Instructors engage with students in real time and screen share to present videos and keynote presentations. Bring your questions, we’ve got answers!

What is New Birth Company Birth Center?

We believe natural childbirth is an awe-inspiring physical, emotional and spiritual experience that captures all senses of our bodily spectrum.

Using sight, sound, smell, taste and touch, we enhance the birth experience. You will see soothing colors that make you smile. You will hear soothing music commissioned specifically for women and childbirth. You will smell natural scents such as lavender and comfrey. You'll have a blueberry flax smoothie from the kitchen to keep up your energy. A wise woman's hands guides your body to choose its best position for birth.

Our facility also provides clinic rooms for pregnancy visits and well woman care, as well as space for classes and community gatherings. We have two birth centers, located in Kansas City, Kansas and Overland Park, Kansas.
