About this event

  • 45 minutes

At Ad Hoc, working remotely is built into everything we do, and that’s not going to change. Since day one, we have been bringing together technologists from across the country to help the government serve the public.

We are looking for people to join our team and help us achieve our vision of closing the gap between the experience people have with consumer technology and the experience they have with government services.

Register for this free virtual event to hear from Ad Hoc team members about how working at a flexible, remote company has helped them as parents, Veterans, managers, and more. You’ll also hear more about our hiring process and have time to ask questions and connect directly with our recruiting team.

Jill Langan is a Senior Program Manager at Ad Hoc. She’s honored to support our VA.gov Platform Teams as well as one of our veteran-facing forms teams. In other lifetimes, she served 11 years in the US Air Force, peaked in her Lockheed Martin career as the Director of Engineering for Lockheed Martin United Kingdom, served as the Mum of two brilliant daughters who are now adulting, and owned and managed her own wine bar for 4 years in Orlando. Jill currently lives on the central coast of California with her partner, 3 dogs (is too many), and 2 cats, but has her retirement property ready to build on in NC.

Nick Rhodes is the Growth and Strategy Lead for Ad Hoc. In his role, he leads business development activities for the VA account as well as provides business development oversight across Ad Hoc’s other business units. Nick has more than 25 years of consulting experience within the commercial and federal environments providing delivery and business development expertise. Prior to Ad Hoc, Nick worked for Booz Allen, Accenture, and GovCIO supporting mission-critical efforts at agencies such as VA, SSA, CMS, and HHS. Nick lives in Fairfax, VA where he enjoys coaching his three kids in baseball and basketball.

Liz Calderon is a Recruiting Lead supporting both the VA and Federal Civilian business units. Liz has more than 20 years combined experience supporting Executive Leadership, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition. Liz is passionate about identifying diverse and creative talent with career-changing opportunities at every level. Liz lives in Old Lyme, CT with her two teenage children, 4 cats, and three ferrets.

Bradley Schuman is a DevOps Engineer supporting Ad Hoc’s work at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Bradley has 24 years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience and is also a seasoned technical writer and solutions architect. Bradley lives in the mountains of New Mexico where he farms, cooks, plays board games, and builds Lego dinosaurs with his wife and two sons.

We have team members in 45 states and from all walks of life who have decided to use their skills and experience to support the federal government in serving the public. Join our virtual event and find your place on the Ad Hoc team.
