The REMO Kids Drum Circle has been happening, almost every Saturday, since 2003.

The RMC started in North Hollywood, at the original Remo Music Center location, and moved to Valencia in 2017. Mike DeMenno and the REMO Team have been bringing the joy of music, along with fostering the confidence for kids to express, improvise, and be creative. The drum is more than a drum. It is a tool that builds self-confidence, the imagination, and there is no fear of making a mistake.

Do Parents Stay and Participate?

Yes. It is required that parent or guardian stay. This is not a drop-off.

Is ear protection provided?

Yes. We monitor the volume with an assortment of rhythm games and song. However, if you or your child is feeling sound-sensitive, we offer ear-muffs for kids and ear-plugs for adults.

Is this a class?

No. This is not a class, however an intangible amount of learning can take place, all without teaching.

Are Drum Provided?

All drums and percussion items are provided by REMO.

Are the drums clean and santitized?

Yes, all drums, mallets, and percussion items are cleaned after each drum circle.
