REM II is an imaginative, dreamscape pop up dinner from the mind of Kris Kim, sous chef of The Willows Inn on Lummi Island.

LENOIR

Following his third season on the island, Kim is using his winter break to showcase a tasting menu that will feature an innovative collection of ideas inspired by stages of sleep. REM II is the second event in what will be a series of dinners that will explore food in a way that is ethereal and playful. Kim is joined by Willows Inn cook and Dallas native, Larry Nguyen. While in Austin, Nguyen spent time at Kuneho working under Chef Mia Li. He recently spent time in Copenhagen working in Noma's fermentation lab with David Zilber and Jason White.Kim and Nguyen are thrilled to be bringing the REM II series to Austin and are partnering with Lenoir for service. Abiding by their responsible and sustainable food practices they’re working with local purveyors in Austin and using seasonal items.Ticket includes one tasting menu per ticket. Additional wine pairing and beverage options can be purchased at the event. Please refer to additional ticketing notes below.PLEASE NOTE:- Tickets are assigned to specific seats and time slots for either the 5:30PM or 8:00PM window. Please make sure to select your tickets accordingly.- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your seating to provide ample time to check-in.- Minimal dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
