About this event

We are thrilled to announce the release of our 2023 Report on the Condition of Career Readiness in the United States. Our country faces a very real and growing skills gap, and closing it demands that today’s youth gain the skills necessary to meet tomorrow’s workforce needs. As this report highlights, to combat this dire situation, we must continually assess our career readiness policies and practices to ensure they are both meeting local and regional workforce needs and advancing economic and social mobility for all workers.

Join us as American Student Assistance (ASA) President and CEO Jean Eddy and South Central College President and Coalition for Career Development (CCD) Center Board Chair Dr. Annette Parker host the virtual release of the 2023 Report on May 14, 2024 at 3:00 pm ET.

The 2023 Report on the Condition of Career Readiness in the United States was produced for the CCD Center under the leadership of Dr. V. Scott Solberg by the Boston University Wheelock College Center for Future Readiness. This report would not be possible without ASA and their generous funding. We thank Jean Eddy for her leadership and transformative vision for K-12 education.
