Why do some people seem to have closer and more enduring friendships and marriages than others?
Why do they perform so well in the workplace and advance so quickly in their careers?
How do they maintain such a close and influential connection with their children and relatives?
Why do they seem to have less conflict, and when it does arise, why are they so good at resolving it quickly and completely?
Relational wisdom, in essence, is the ability to live out Jesus’ two Great Commandments, namely, to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself (<A HREF="http://www.esvbible.org/Matt.+22.37-39" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Matt. 22:37-39</A>).
Relational wisdom may also be defined as your ability to discern emotions, interests and abilities in yourself and others, to interpret them in the light of God’s Word, and to use this insight to manage your responses and relationships successfully.
As you learn these skills, you can experience stronger relationships and less conflict at home, at church, and in the workplace, as well as improved team-building, better job performance, and a more credible witness for Christ.
The day will include 6 main topics: Pursuing Relational Wisdom, The Challenge of Emotions, Defining Relational Wisdom, Applying Relational Wisdom, Relational Peasemaking, and Improving Relational Wisdom

FAQs
Is there child care available? Unfortunately we are not able to provide child care.  Since our staff and volunteer leaders will be attending this event, our capacity for child care is very limited.  We are not able to make this available to everyone.
What are the options for lunch? There will be a hour long lunch break.  There are many restaurants close to Gateway.  We will provide a list when you check in on Saturday morning.  You are also welcome to bring your own lunch and eat on campus. I'm no longer able to attend. How do I get a refund? We understand that life happens!  To cancel your registration, log in to your Eventbrite account, select Tickets, click your order, and cancel therein.  Cancellations after August 9 will not be refunded.
