About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Modernising Employment (MODE) is a cross-party group of Members of Parliament and the House of Lords who share an interest in understanding how the UK labour market can lead the world in driving growth and providing a level playing field for everyone.

This in person session of the Modernising Employment APPG will be focussing on what the future holds for young people when finding work. What will the new ways of finding work look like in future, what are the expectations of the next generation when thinking about work and careers, what are the barriers facing young people today and tomorrow? Chaired by Emma Hardy MP and supported by parliamentarians and industry this in person event will be important in shaping future policy.

We invite academics, industry, and young people to join this session in Parliament to debate what the future of work seeking needs to look like for the UK’s next generation. Hear from a range of speakers and experts on the subject and join in with the debate to help shape the future of UK hiring.

Places are limited so we may not be able to provide places for all members who register, in which case we will also attempt to provide virtual access to the meeting.

For authentication purposes we require you register with your organisation email, we cannot register your interest using a personal account.
