Join UF/IFAS Extension Volusia County & Volusia County to preserve and ReGrow the Loop! The initiative includes opportunities for individuals to sign a pledge to help preserve the loop, learn to grow along the loop, receive recognition and a native tree!

Join Ranger Andrew Lemin for an exciting program featuring an incredible reptile! Gopher tortoises play a vital role in Florida's forests, with their burrows providing shelter for more than 300 other animal species. These unique tortoises are endangered and are the only species of their kind east of the Mississippi River. Discover fascinating insights about this local animal and learn how you can contribute to their survival.Host: Dream Green VolusiaDate: Tuesday, November 25, 2023Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 PMLocation: Tomoka State Park, meet at the Recreation Hall, 2099 N. Beach Street, Ormond BeachImmerse yourself in the beauty of nature at Tomoka State Park, a local hidden gem. There's a $5 entry fee per car to the state park, but here's some good news – Florida State Park annual passes are now available at a 50% discount from October 14, 2023, to January 13, 2024.After the presentation, take some time to explore and support local businesses by shopping for gifts at Tomoka Outpost, conveniently located inside the state park. It's a great way to make the most of your holiday season while enjoying the wonders of the natural world.
