AAUW of Greater Richmond (GRAAUW) is a branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).Since it was established in 1881, AAUW has been a catalyst for change. Our nonpartisan, nonprofit organization has more than 170,000 members.  The Greater Richmond Branch has over 50 members in the metro area who are active in promoting scholarship and public policy issues, as well as enjoying social activities.  AAUW National is a 501(c)3 organization.  GRAAUW is a 501(c)4 organization.

Join the AAUW of Greater Richmond branch in viewing and discussing the Zeitouna Story documentary

Join the AAUW of Greater Richmond branch in viewing and discussing the Zeitouna Story, a 58-minute 2007 documentary film that profiles a self-formed group of twelve ordinary women calling themselves “Zeitouna,” the Arab word for olive tree. Six Palestinian women and six Jewish women, some American-born, others immigrants, of ages spanning 40 years share a story of purposeful sisterhood. They demonstrate how the learning and practice of dialogue can be a catalyst for personal transformation and the basis of peace and understanding. 
Ticket holders will be sent the Zoom link a day prior to the event.
 If you can only participate by phone you should be able to hear the video and discussion. Have your popcorn ready for an interesting evening.A brief Branch business meeting will follow the discussion. All are welcome!
